Had a nice evening at the barley beach house! We ordered tuna tartare, calamari, philly cheesesteak rolls & of course a refreshing lobster roll with a side of plantains.
Food was good and view of the beach/ocean was awesome! The server was attentive. Will definitely visit again.
Today for lunch we dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. Our group of eleven enjoyed a variety of dishes, including steak sandwiches, sushi, salmon, and salad. Every dish was well-prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant, making it a great place for a group outing. We were all impressed by the attention to detail and the quality of both the food and the service. We look forward to returning soon! Our reservation was for tomorrow for 10, by mistake and we showed up today and we were 11! No problem. Great manager and hostess.
The Barley House is a local staple in this area. You can't go wrong coming here. Great atmosphere, great ambiance, and friendly staff. They have a full bar with 30 beers on tap. They have good rotating seasonal food that you will definitely enjoy. This a great place to enjoy company or make friends at the bar. Plenty of parking and great beach view.
The views here are simply breathtaking. I'm looking forward to sitting outside in the summer. The spiced hot chocolate was strong but enjoyable on a hot day. I had the Shor rib grilled cheese, which was an experience with every bite. It was hot, the rib was tender, cheesy to perfection, and the tomato soup provided the best dipping sauce. My girlfriend had the Wicked Tuna, which was generously portioned and spicy with the Wasabi. To top it off we had the brownie sundae. It was hot, gooey, and rich. Be mindful that if you order fries, chips, or salad it's an extra charge.
